Soo & Shawn | Maine Vineyard Wedding | June 1st, 2019 | Lincolnville, Maine

Soo and Shawn’s wedding was the perfect kickoff to the wedding season. We have had a handful of events this year, but theirs was the first wedding. The wedding ceremony and reception was all held at Cellardoor Vineyards in Lincolnville, a perfect setting to say “I Do”. The ceremony was sweet and intimate with friends and family and once they had said their vows the celebration commenced. For the wedding we were buddied up with Nightcap Bar Co., a new bar retrofitted in a vintage Shasta camper. The catering was provided by Café Miranda, who blew everyone away with their numerous dinner stations covering every kind of cuisine your taste buds could desire. Lucy was a hit with everyone, with new props for the year and a remodeled interior that makes the whole camper more efficient and easy to navigate. Thank you Soo and Shawn for choosing us to be a part of your big day, and congratulations!!! Enjoy the photos!

Ben & Cambria | Wedding Camp 2018 | August 26th, 2018 | Kingsley Pines, Raymond, ME

Ben and Cambria know how to do a wedding right!!! Every detail to their wedding was amazing. They had their wedding at Kingsley Pines campground and all the guests camped for the weekend and celebrated their nuptials. The wedding had all the bells and whistles, from the catering to the band- everything was done right. They had Lucy hidden inside so that the guests had no idea it was there. It was revealed like on a game show when they pulled the doors opened while the band played their opening song. Everybody hooted and hollered and ran in to party down. The wedding guests of all ages, from young to young at heart, came in the camper to get their photos taken. Midway through we stopped for an over the top fireworks show. I couldn’t believe how well done it was. After the fireworks everyone proceeded to boogie down. What a great time, and congratulations Ben And Cambria!!!!

Shawna & Mike | Farm Fun Wedding | August 18th, 2018 | Hardy Farm, Fryeburg, ME

Boy, do we love Hardy Farm!!! We had done a wedding show there the last few summers there. From that Shawna and Mike decided that they had to have Lucy at their wedding and Siobhan shoot their photos, the ultimate package! So the day had come and we headed up to Fryeburg for their special day. Lucy got set up with all the usual details while Siobhan started shooting the Wedding party. The guests promptly showed for the ceremony and as the newlyweds took off on a trolley for their photos the cocktail hour began and the camper was open for business. Guests do one of two things when they first see Lucy, they either peek in like a curious cat and keep walking- too nervous to come in yet, or race right in to get their picture taken. The crowd here was great, all the guests of all ages produced some hilarious pictures and also some sweet ones. The celebration was nonstop until we had to leave, actually the fun was still going. Congrats to Shawna and Mike on their marriage, and thank you for having us be a part of your day!

Kaitlyn & Kyle | Wolfe's Next Wedding | August 11th, 2018 | Wolfe's Neck Farm, Freeport, ME

Kaitlyn and Kyle had the wedding everyone dreams about. A ceremony held in a field at Wolfe’s Neck farm overlooking Casco Bay is a moment that will be hard to forget. When two people fall in love and invite their closest friends and families to witness and celebrate at a location like this truly is special. The ceremony was touching and thought out and when the “I do’s” were made and their marriage was official the reception and Lucy started. The camper was decorated with the well matched barnboard backboard, with all the fixings for props. Guests came and went as they pleased, many came back for more with much delight. The wedding was catered by Fire & Co. and music was provided by The Dapper Gents. The party went into the night and everyone sang, danced, and photoboothed.

Kim & Zack | A Family Fun wedding | August 4th | Holyoke MA

When a family member gets married, it’s a very special moment. So when the day came, we packed up all our gear and headed down to Holyoke, Massachusetts to setup an open air photobooth. Our kids were the ringbearer and flower girl for the ceremony, and as we always do brought the fun to the reception with some photobooth festivities. Weddings are essentially a family reunion and to document these occasions are always special, and to capture them in their silly natural state makes it more memorable. Guests and families loved the photobooth and props. The gold backdrop complimented the style of the wedding held at Mill 1, which is a repurposed old mill into a beautiful venue with plenty of space and character. Kim and Zack may be the most fun and outgoing couple that we know, and really had one of the most meaningful and fun weddings we have been to. And for their honeymoon they came up to Maine and we took them out on a boat ride around Casco Bay for the true Maine experience. Plus we let Zack man the helm!!! Congrats Kim And Zack, and we can’t wait to see you soon!!!

Cellardoor Winery | Live In The Vines | July 28th, 2018

When Cellardoor Winery contacted us to see if we were available for their get together at their vineyard we were excited.  When we found out the musicians lined up for the event, we were ecstatic!!!  The line up consisted of Wavelength band (one of our favorite Maine bands), Judith Hill, Anita Antoinette, and Aaron Neville!!  We didn't know what to expect when we got there, but the event was "World's Fair" themed and had various food vendors and entertainment for everyone.  There were jugglers and stilt walkers and the view of the vineyard as the backdrop behind the tent and stage was indescribable.  We brought Lucy up with the ever so popular barnboard backdrop with all the fixings for props.  As always the camper was a blast and the line out side the door was always filled with guests.  The side effect to the line for the camper is that strangers get to talking and become friends and make the decision on a whim to take a picture together.  Just to be silly and document that rare moment with a new, but short friendship.  The gathering was a huge success where many friends came together to celebrate summer.

Erica & Reid | Mountain Top Marriage | Granite Ridge Estate & Barn

There are many aspects to a wedding venue that make it special, and when we arrived to Granite Ridge Estate & Barn in Norway, Maine we found a lot of special.  The venue sits on top of what you might call a mountain with a panoramic view of more mountain like surroundings.  The gable end of the barn facing the mountains edge was nothing but windows where all the guests can see the view from the table seats.  Erica and Reid were the sweetest couple, and their addition of masks of themselves for the camper were hilarious.  With a beautiful outside ceremony where they took their vows, soon afterwards cocktail hour ensued and the camper fun began.  Guest lined up to get their photos taken and the masks the couple made were very popular.  It's hard to get photos with newlyweds, so this was a clever way to do so.  Thank you Erica and Reid for a great day of love and celebration.

Gabriela & Peter | June 23rd, A Night of Nuptials at Barn at Walnut Hill

The wedding for Peter & Gabriela was truly a night to remember.  The wedding was held at the beautiful Barn at Walnut Hill in North Yarmouth.  The couple went to Colby College and returned to Maine to wed.  Everything was decorated with care and beauty by Lani Toscano and her team.  Outside in the yard, where Lucy was setup for play, had all the amenities for a good celebration.  They had a tent up for Maine Mixologists to pour cocktails and Fire & Co. had chicken roasting over an open flame.  The aromas alone made your mouth water!  But right as the ceremony was to begin the weather had a change in plans....  It started to rain!!!  Everybody waited hoping the rain would pass, but the rain was here to stay and the ceremony was held inside the barn.  Once Gabriela and Peter made their "I Do's" the cocktail hour began and so did the fun.  The guests were great in the camper, and many were in the media industry where the creativity was put to the test.  The addition of Katie Perry's "Left Shark" by their request was hilarious.  The weather calmed down and everybody celebrated to commemorate their love.  Congratulations Gabriela and Peter!  And thanks for having us be a part of your special day.

Emily & Sam | June 9th, Marriage on MDI | Northeast Harbor, ME

On a gorgeous Friday afternoon, the whole family hooked up Lucy and headed downeast to Northeast Harbor for an exciting wedding on Mount Desert Island.  Emily and Sam created a beautiful event with many homemade decorations.  Using their many talents and creativity, the venue looked amazing and having Lucy as an addition, made the celebration that much more special.  We setup shop the day before, so we could go adventure Cadillac Mountain and Bar Harbor.  The views were amazing and Bar Harbor was a lot of fun to just walk around an explore.  Boom!  It's wedding day.  As the ceremony was at a different location I waited for the guests to arrive for cocktail hour.  The crowd had a ball getting their photos taken and putting on all the props that were in Lucy.  The barnboard backdrop complimented an accent wall Sam had made that looked quite similar.  The party ran late into the night and Emily told me the next day that she could do it all over again.  Thank you so much Emily and Sam for having us at your wedding and I hope you will cherish these photos for years to come.

Cape Elizabeth Prom|The Portland Club|Portland Me

The Cape Elizabeth Prom took place at the Portland Club in Portland, Maine, it had been a while since I had been in there and forgotten who interesting a place it is.  The building feels as if it has just been preserved, and that you've stepped back in time.  The students real showed their spirit and creativity in the open air photobooth, where laughs and smiles emitted from their youthful faces.  Personally, the highlight for me was when two kids played doubles piano, just eloquently jamming.  Between the dancing and the photobooth , the building was alive.  Surely they will remember their High School prom!

Kate & David | May 19th Beautiful Backyard Wedding | Freeport, Me

To kick off the first wedding of the season, we were fortunate enough to stay right in Freeport to celebrate the marriage of Kate and David.  Their wedding took place in Kate's parents backyard where centered in the middle was a gigantic beautiful tent, one of Fire & Co's vintage culinary trucks and Lucy- the camper.  Although the weather wasn't most ideal, we all made the best of the sprinkling weather, for there was celebrating to do!  Everything was beautifully orchestrated; the food, the music, and the camper completed the celebration of these two love birds.  Congrats Kate and David, and thank you for letting us celebrate your special day with you.

Tori & Chris | New Hampshire Vintage Wedding | Bedford Village Inn

Day two of a double header weekend, we hauled Lucy down to Bedford, New Hampshire for Chris and Tori's wedding.  The wedding was held at the Bedford Village Inn, a very cute venue, with all that New England charm.  We arrived and set up shop near the back patio, which was lit with lanterns and a fire pit.  After the ceremony and the newly weds had made their vows, the celebration began with your traditional cocktail hours.  Guests came in and out capturing their evening, with or without props, just to document their evening and to contribute to the scrap book.  The guests would receive a strip for themselves and one for the scrap book, where they could sign their name or leave a message for the bride and groom.  The camper echoed with laughter and everyone left with a larger smile on their face.  It brings much joy to give people such a youthful experience in it's simplest form.  Who doesn't love dressing up in costumes and acting silly.  It's those simple things that can bring such happiness.  Thanks Tori and Chris for having us to your wedding, and we wish you all the best.

Zia & Adam | Beautiful Barn Wedding | Beech Hill Barn |

Boy were we busy this weekend!  We had a double header of weddings and our first stop was up to Beech Hill Barn in Beautiful Pittston, Maine.  The view at Beech Hill Barn is amazing.  The view of the mountains and the foliage seems endless.  I can only imagine what it looks like with each season.  It truly is one of the most beautiful settings for a wedding ceremony.  Lucy was positioned next to the barn and across from Fire and Company's trucks providing food and beverages.  Once the ceremony had completed and the vows were made, the guests and newly weds ventured up the hillto the barn for cocktails and lawn games.  As most weddings do, many people peeked in like a curious, shy cat; yet not quite ready to commit.  We just give them time, they always come in by the end of the night.  The night was mixed with music provided by Soul Purpose, dancing, celebrating and the youthfulness that camper brings out in all.  There never was a dull moment when everything is set up so perfectly.  The gang here showed some true talent with their props and poses, where their character shined.  Thanks Zia and Adam for including us in your celebration.  It was a blast entertaining and documenting your crew!!!

Beata & Andrzej | A Polish Wedding | The Barn At Flanagan Farm

Weddings are the perfect opportunities for families to get together, and for this wedding, absolutely.  The Barn at Flanagan Farm was the perfect setting to celebrate the love between two people.  The bride and groom are both from Poland and they continued to celebrate with all the wedding traditions from back home, and from what I witnessed was a rambunctious time.  Whether in the barn, out in the yard, or in the camper- all the guests were smiling, dancing, and laughing.  The children there, immediately were drawn to the photo camper.  They started off posing like most do, but soon afterwards they had become my little helpers.  They helped clean up props, assist in dressing up the guests, and swatting mosquitoes whenever they flew in.  It was nice to include these little helpers, and allow them the opportunity to feel special.  But the novelty ran out and they went and played soccer out in the fields.  I really can't blame them.  The guests really knew how to celebrate, the barn was a ripping and a roaring, and so was the camper.  When you can't stop laughing due to the guests, you know you're doing something right.  The white gold rose backdrop added a little sophistication while everyone acted a little unsophisticated.  The option was there for a nice classy photo, rarely does it happen though.  Large groups of people crammed themselves in, really reveling how close they really are.  You can really find out how close people are when you shove 10, 15, or 20 people into a camper to take photos.  It may sound silly, but when you see it, it's a beautiful thing.  Thank you Beata and Andrzej for including us on your wedding day.  It was truly a beautiful celebration.

Bridget & Ganesh| Caravan Wedding| The Barn at Flanagan Farm|

When it comes to weddings, this was the wedding that was meant for us!  Bridget and Ganesh orchestrated the perfect wedding garnished with SEVEN Volkswagen buses in the field of the Barn at Flanagan Farm!!!  So, when we pulled in with the camper, we just added to the caravan of fun.  For their wedding, we built a new backdrop, to keep this wedding’s aesthetic consistent.  We built a barnboard backdrop within the camper to look the part of the barn wedding.  Although quite heavy, it looks as if you’re in a traditional Maine barn.  We set up the camper between the two barns and a little bit after we were up and running the guests arrived.  Several guests peered in before the wedding with excitement, with just enough patience to wait until after the ceremony.  From where the camper sat, the ceremony sounded beautiful with music and celebration out in the wooded ceremony location.

Everyone flooded out of the trees with smiles toward the Sperry tent for cocktail hour.  Many of the guests quickly jumped in the camper to get their photos taken and promptly telling others to get in due to how fun it is.  Oh, and how fun it was. The props were flying and the photo strips were too, quickly filling up the scrapbook littered with messages of love for the new married couple.  Congratulations Bridget & Ganesh, what a beautiful wedding you had!!!

Lindsay & Matt |Nautical Wedding| York Harbor Inn | Maine Photo Booth

These are the days of summer!  And on this gorgeous day we traveled down to York, Maine to the York Harbor Inn where we were a part of a beautiful wedding for Lindsay and Matt.  The view of the Maine coast was unreal, and the setting was perfect, with the beach right below.  The guests had just entered the ceremony when we pulled in and were surprised to see what was set up outside when they came out for the reception. As most weddings do, they start off cute and innocent in the camper and progress into a hilarious and outrageous time.  The gold sequin back drop added some flash to the photos and got the guests excited.  The props were in full use and the camper consistently had large groups creatively putting them to use.  The line quickly grew as everyone wanted their chance to get in front of the camera.  Guests of all ages came in and out, having a great time dressing up and experiencing the magic of Lucy!  From newborns to grandparents, everyone enjoyed the camper, they came in smiling and left with bigger smiles, laughs, and a copy of their own photos to take home.  The guest book flowed with photo strips and messages for the bride and groom to look at later.  One can only imagine what that book contains.  The crew here really shined with creativity, where some even brought the centerpieces in as props.  It's great to see people thinking outside the box to add to the excitement.  Congratulations to Lindsay and Matt on saying "I Do" and celebrating with friends and family who traveled near and far!
